Default HTH: How much is too much for Pujols?

With the likelyhood that Pujols will shut it down at some point in this already-lost-season for the Cards, how does that affect his trade value?

Are owners still holding up others in trade proposals, or can he be had at a discount?

I'm debating on whether or not I should make a push for him again.

If Pujols has been traded in any of the league y'all play in, please post who he was traded for.

TIA

Coincidently...I TRADED Pujols my team in off our Mofo Keeper League LAST season..

I was trying to make a playoff push and needed OF power.. and put Pujols on the Market with the stipulation that I MUST get ONE Keeper in return plus a "border-line keeper/solid player".. after a few proposals..I settled on Texiera(keeper)+ Jason Bay.... I took a stab with Bay returning to similar form..(HE DIDn'T)..but Texiera after being traded to Braves got HOT and outproduced Pujols down the stretch..since Tex. is still young and a stud hitter himself..I pulled the trigger..I also sent B. Macann in deal..good/young power hitting catcher..but i already had V. Martinez on roster and didn't need him..also knew he wouldn't be kept at end of year....FAST FORWARD to present..I also after much internal DEBATE chose NOT to KEEP BAY..since he didn't do much in spring and Pit. doomed to be horrible again..so it boils down to Tex vs Pujols straight up..if Pujols stays healthy...I may lose out slightly in end..if Pujols elbow stays creaky and he gets shut down..I may come out ahead..

Bottom line..if its NOT a keeper league..you may be able to get him at a small discount LATER in year.. as he did hit well this spring..but if this is for a keeper league..expect to still have to pay a pretty high price for him..

OK, alls I know is Pujols is completely carrying my ass in my 5x5 roto league. Well I do have great pitching, but offensively I'm stuck starting guys like Toby Hall and Brendan Ryan.

Like I said: carrying my ass.
