Would you make this trade?

Vince Young (mine) for Jay Cutler, straight up. I'm tempted. Yeah, Young was the ROY and has the rushing ability but it's the Titans. Cutler came on VERY strong in the 5 weeks he saw action and has a much better offense around him.

Yahoo did this draft for me and I'm not in love with Young. And my other QB is useless - as Jets fans know.

Thoughts?

I think I would keep Young..

Denver relies very heavily on running game..and "Fantasy" wise, V Young will get more TD's/stats solely b/c he will get more touches IMO... those are my two cents...keep the change..

I'd have to know what kind of scoring system you use first but here are my thoughts.

Denver has a balanced attack which might downgrade cutler just a bit. Tennesse is AWFUL, no receivers, no running back to keep defenses honest, just vince young. You know defenses have to be hip to him right now especially since he has no weapons and they have a year of film on him.

Cutler has a cannon arm, is decently mobile and his progression has gone quite nicely.

I go with cutler on this one, deep threat with walker, solid RB in henry setting up play action quite nicely.

If it's solely for this year then I take Cutler. Young has NO weapons and I don't think he'll get another 500+ yards and 7 TD's rushing in 2007.

Cutler also only played in 5 games last year. He had 1001 yards and 9 TD's. Over a full 16 game season those numbers pro-rate out to 3200 yards and 28 TD's which depending on your scoring easily a top 10 QB. Add in a healthy Javon Walker, better TE's, and a top running game (balance) and he's set to put up very good numbers.

Passing TD's are worth 6 just as rushing TD's are and a point for every 50 yds. I pulled the trigger on the deal yesterday but I'm glad to see agreement with my thoughts. Thanks guys.

if passing td's are valued the same then you have to go with cutler. If passing td's are 4 like traditional leagues, then maybe you consider young.
