H2H vs. Roto: How do you change your strategy?

what do you do differently when playing in either format?

HEAD TO HEAD is all about matchups.. if you are facing an opponent that has alot of POWER hitters..you perhaps will try to stack all of YOUR power hitters that particular week..or if you can't..then load up on other areas...ie sb.'s/pitching to try and snag those columns in a given week..I even find DAILY matchups key in head to head..on a given day if a 2nd tier batter is facing Johan it would be prudent to sit player that day and use another that facing a lesser pitcher.. you ae trying to WIN THAT WEEK and thats what you care about.. Roti is a MARATHON and its about STATS for WHOLE year..I started out playing this personally but when exposed to head 2 head found it much more fun and NEVER PLAYED Roti again.. Plus is fun facing an opponent who may be friend or foe IN A GIVEN WEEK..WITH ROTI.. you loose that interpersonal contact..
