Milledge hit a lot of leadoff and 2nd in the minors, in fact thats where he spent most of his time.....contrary to opinion, he is a patient hitter as evidence by his .385 career OB%..... He has also shown no problems hitting behind in the count at any level.
Now the argument can be made that he's having success where he is right now and its best to just leave him alone, as well as that Castillo's best spot is #2....but for the future, he has shown every thing you'd like to see from a #2 hitter.
