I will agree with your point though. A lot of the people in the press who are all over Selig are the same ones who saw what he saw as well and in many cases had more access to the players than Selig had and said nothing. I personally think Selig gets a lot too much blame for this. |
It is a little to late for that in my opinion, but frankly they are getting away with it a tad. At this point they are more or less angry that fans sort of do not care about this homerun chase, because well, they can't get any benefit out of covering it. Bonds run at Aaron should have been met with a giant resounding echo of silence.
