The Indians are the only hope. And lord knows they are flaky as well. Will they pummel the bad competition better than the 17-5 stretch of the Yankees? Hard to say.
Sadly, with Hughes, they might be in the post-season unless Cleveland steps the **** up. After all the geniuses stated 'there are too many teams in the wc race', they seem to ignore that all those 'teams' fell in the toilet and the Mariners are on their way to doing the same thing.
Until a team beats them in a series, or runs away with the wc, why should he say otherwise?
Note: This is more rhetorical than anything. Forgive the tone as I just re-read it. My point remains, though. People talk all day about how their season is over, but they couldn't see the mariners/indians slumping which is beyond me, as all you have to do is watch them and see how flawed they are. And since the Yankees can go 30-7 vs bad teams, it makes sense to think they are in it. As much as we hate to say it.
That sad, I am so tired of that fat **** and his Yankees. He deserves to choke on a dick and watch them lose 7 of 9. But that won't happen as the Royals want them to win badly. |
