I know this isn't Mets news, but this is the area that gets the most traffic. I was out and about most of the day and listened to the FAN for the first time in awhile...did anyone else hear that fat POS rants about the Yankees???
I mean, it's like he actually NEEDS the angry puppy there to keep him in line. "Mussina won't be in the postseason rotation, Hughes will be." (Of course, the Yankees actually NEED to be in POSITION first.
And that sick reliever down in the minors, Joba Chamberlain (admittedly great nos.) needs to be brought up because he's going to be light's out and the 8th inning bridge to Mariano.
He actually said Chamberlain could be this year's version of K-Rod of '02.
You know...the season is long from over and I won't declare the Yankees dead, but I mean, they've won six straight yet not ONE mention of who they've beaten and how they did this back in June only to slump horribly again.
His words today, "any Yankee haters who think this season is meaningless...sorry."
