I agree! No way the Mets get invovled. Not only will they have issues trading Delcrappo, but I'm pretty sure has a limited no trade clause and signed through next year. I think the Mets will pursue Tex. But as a free agent after the 2008 season. I'm curious whats going to happen this offseason with Delgado. He hinting at sitting out if they Mets didnt pick up his 2009 option. I dont mind Delgado through 2008. It will give us some time to see what Carp is made out of. Tex WILL BE a free agent. Boras is his agent so I doubt he gets an extension from the team he gets traded to (if he gets traded).
