Very rare these days, but his manager was a scout before they gave him the interim job. He's got nothing to lose really. I'm not sure I've ever heard of a scout getting an interim manager's position, or a bullpen coach like the one in Baltimore for that matter. I would like to see the Reds bring back Ray Knight, if only because somebody would at least be fighting every night....
