 How things have changed!!...
Just read in "For Mets Fans ONly", that in 1974, Nolan RYan of the Angels hooked up in a pitching duel w/ Luis Tiant of the Red Sox. THe game went 15 innings and Tiant pitched 14 of them ; Ryan pitched all 15 !! He threw a total of 235 pitches that day !! ...... amazing that his arm didn't fall off. |
