 Omar Minaya comments on the Trade Deadline

With the July 31 trade deadline quickly approaching, Minaya said he has spoken with several general managers about possible deals. But he added that because teams seem less inclined to dump salaries in trades and have locked up several players to long-term contracts, he does not expect many trades to go through. "You have to ask yourself whether the guys you have are better than the guys we have now," Minaya said.
