The made for TV after school specials of the 1980s not withstanding, we are not in a day and age with innocent until prove guilty where accused rapists are given the benefit of the doubt.
They seemed to be willing to agree to a plea pretty quickly which gave Castro just probation, ie walking free.
No one is saying this should be taken lightly NA, but as far as I know, there was not even a civil suit, which suggests the case was weak at best.
