 Shouldn't Ramon Castro get more playing time??
I know that there is a whole thread on LoDuca but it really hasn't been emphasized enough that Ramon Castro's production in limited playing time has been phenomenal. His offensive production has been frankly much better than LoDuca's. LoDuca's offensive woes are not entirely related to his spot in the lineup. The fact of the matter is that he is having a crappy year..If you add the fact that LoDuca's, bat with the exception of last year, typically fades in the second half, I would seriously even consider a platoon. It seems as if every time Castro plays he gets a big hit, while LoDuca is just not doing squat.
The time has come to put the best team on the field. I am just not sure with LoDuca playing everyday we are doing just that. |
