Tomo Ohka-S- Blue Jays
Jun. 7 - 12:35 pm et

Blue Jays designated RHP Tomo Ohka for assignment.
It's a foolish move, but one that doesn't come as much of a surprise. Gregg Zaun will be activated Friday to fill the open roster spot. While it's true that Ohka had a 5.79 ERA in 10 starts, he was facing one of the game's hardest schedules (three starts vs. Boston, one vs. Detroit, two against Texas) and the Jays didn't give him any chance to bounce back by skipping him in the rotation over the last month. He'll probably help an NL team if he gets the chance.

I'd say the Braves are going to pounce quickly.
