So in a situation where the Phils want a GiDP they're going to opt to face the fast lefty swinger with no force rather than a slow righty with a force???
Whattareya nuts? ... Of course they're going to IW Jose there - and would do so almost no matter who was up next.
The main question is who you want up next
regardless of whether they'd walk him or not, to which the answer is: the best available hitter. At the moment that is LoDuca over Endy. They'd still walk him, but we'd have a better shot of scoring whether they did or not.
btw, The answer could also be Wright (now THAT would have Manual shaking in his boots) who I liked hitting 2nd all along (for the same reasons as above) although not neccesarily now with the regular corner OFers out creating all the holes in the middle of the lineup.
