Hindsight is indeed 20-20, but with all of our OF injury woes thus far, the slow return of Alou from the DL is putting this deal under greater scrutiny.

But I actually think it is too late to call the Alou signing a bust. It was a huge gamble on ink day. But the Chavez injury, after the Green injury, after the Milledge injury.
I think it was fair to say the Mets had comfortable depth to play with. Outfield is voodoo (a trap at Shea)
