Is it too early to call the Alou signing a bust.. After seeing the video of the guy running the bases yesterday, it is highly unlikely that he will be ready anytime soon. If it's not the quad with this guy..it'll be the knee. I like his batting average in the lineup and productivity but at this point, Floyd seems like he would have been a better option. I know Floyd is no longer a starter, but the game has not even been on the DL once thus far.
Hindsight is indeed 20-20, but with all of our OF injury woes thus far, the slow return of Alou from the DL is putting this deal under greater scrutiny.
