 Mets would be interested in Carlos Zambrano

According to one MLB team executive, the Mets would be "heavily involved" if the Cubs look to trade Zambrano, reports the New York Post. Zambrano is set to be a free agent after the season, and the Cubs could potentially deal him prior to the July 31 deadline.
Is he hurt? Would it be wise to overpay for him at his lowest, when he could potentially be a bust this year and not resign? |
