Good MiLB.com article on Josh Thole. Looks like the Mets finally put one over on the kid loving Fish. I hope he's not exposed to the Rule 5 draft...

Thole, who turned 22 at the end of October, appeared headed to the Marlins just before the Draft. The two sides had talked and had a handshake agreement before New York swooped in and grabbed him. During his first three seasons in the Mets' system, he played more first base and designated hitter than he did catcher, but this season proved to be a breakout year for the Illinois native, one in which he may have established himself as New York's top catching prospect.
