I'm of the feeling that once you get into the PS, almost anything could happen. But with this blowpen, I'm afraid what could happen isn't going to be good.
The article makes a good point in that Manuel now has more flexibility to throw more pitchers out there with the expanded roster. This won't be the case come PS. The Mets will sink or swim with a limited number of relievers.
