I mean the gm had all winter to bring in new relievers. 2 managers had all summer to try different people: Parnell, Muniz, Collazo, anyone in the minors to see if they could grow into a significant bullpen role.
You can't get mad at this because it is comical, like a bugs bunny cartoon. You know that any of the above relievers brought into a game, no matter how big a lead will blow it. How can you trust Omar, Bernazard, Manuel, Randolph, Werthen, etc with any personnel decisions when they keep this situation the way it is. I mean come on, you just have to laugh. Are they serious. And then Manuel lost any chance he had to being a permanent manager with playing Castillo and Church. Castillo is shot and Church has come back to what he is, a bench player.
It is like looking at a car crash, you can't seem to look away. Amazing. | Muniz got four chances to help the pen......... he stunk each and every time. Collazo is an AAAA pitcher that couldn't get me or you out. Parnell no question deserves a shot to be the setup man. Manuel tried to hand Reyes the job(with Easley out) with three straight starts and he barely can hit the ball past the pitchers mound. If Tatis didn't get hurt he'd likely be getting some starts in Rf over Church. Chavez can't hit and Evans is hitting 5 for 36 vs righties.
