No, they're making the same mistake they always do (i.e., that Americans are essentially cowards who cannot stomach the sight of blood and will do anything for "peace"). By assuming the appearance of being "civilized" and desirous of good relations with the US they think we'll all run to Obama so we can kiss and make up.
They
are correct about the liberals who make up 25-30% of the population but dead wrong about the rest of us.
