When he spoke to the public he did a great job of convincing people that he was just one of the crowd. He looked natural eating fries at McD's - how did Kerry do when buying a philly steak? Hillary at a gas station? Dukakis in a tank? G. Bush, Sr. at a grocery store checkout line?
Clinton was a master at the manipulation of large groups of people.
