While we're talking about this subject. I rememer Willie basically throwing cold water on Angel Pagan's hot streak early in the season. Willie said something like Pagan is a young guy who's a "flash in the pan" amd that no matter how he did Alou was gonna be the starting left fielder. Willie if he was a diplomatic gentleman such as I would have said. "I'm very pleased with what Angel Pagan has shown and I'm sure he'll get some playing time when our injured outfielder returns." |
