Well why the hell not, if we're now going to blame the guy for everything under the sun from the hurricanes to the subprime meltdown to poisoned cat food you might as well.

That would be about 8 years, by the way, that is if you ignore all the embassies reduced to rubble along with the bombing of the USS Cole (all US soil, by the way). Look (almost) everyone would love to see Osama caught and strung up, but it's time to look around and see that along with the guy who conceived orchestrated and coordinated the 9/11 attacks over the past 7 years American forces have killed or neutralized almost everyone else in the Al Qaeda command structure plus, as Mule's pointed out for months and months, scores of irreplaceable trained operatives. You have a problem giving Bush credit for that, fine. Yes, it's not quite bin Laden. But it's time to acknowledge that someone might deserve a little credit for it.
