Lets not get carried away here....they blew a 2-0 lead with two outs in the 9th on Sunday and needed Fernando Tatis to save the day....nearly blew on a 9 run lead on Monday...and now beat the one of the worst teams in baseball. They still are making a number of mistakes in the field, the bullpen is still a question, and they arent going to continue to pound out 14 hits a night.
Right now, its still only a 4 game win streak....and they are still only 2 games over .500. Let at least the rest of the week play out first. There is no reason why they shouldnt go 4-1 before the break. They do that and I'll jump back on as well, but at this point I still wouldnt be surprised if they stumbled into the break sitting at .500. |
