That may very well ALL happen, my point is A) if it doesn't, you have yourself a bonafide #4 hitter, B) if it does, you release him, and C) it doesn't cost you a thing, whereas Gullen most certainly costs you Aaron Heilman, at least.
neither of them are clubhouse guys...so that cancels out.
