Jerry Manuel told reporters earlier today that Ryan Church will not be in today’s lineup, as he continues to suffer from a sever migraine headache.

According to Manuel, Church could have played today, but he would rather give him an extra day of rest.

Ryan Church told reporters that the pain is so bad he must avoid sunlight, adding that it typically lasts a day or two, after which he often feels like he’s been in a ‘car crash.’

Following last night’s game, Church explained to reporters that he has suffered from migraines for most of his life.
I can relate, but the Mets (meaning Dr. Jerry Manuel, Neurologist) better not bullsh!t everyone that the concussions Church suffered don't play a role in this. As I said, if Church already has a history of migraines, the concussions only make them even more severe and frequent. If he doesn't have such a history, then no doubt the post concussion syndrome is causing it.

I just hope the Mets don't f*ck this up. IMO, this is a very serious problem for Church, and could shorten his baseball career, and more important, affect his life.
