He stole 64 bases in 2006; he's on pace to steal about 56 this year. His fielding percentage is lower (.965 to .971 in '06), but his range factor has significantly improved (3.80 to 4.01). You get to more balls, you're going to make more errors, but you're also going to make a lot more plays (he's already recorded 104 putouts; he recorded 176 in all of 2006).
If your argument is that he's in the running for most disappointing Met, can I ask what numbers you expected of him this year?
