Tough one because there are a lot of candidates:

1) Alou/Pedro/El Duque/Sanchez etc...--We cant catch a break on getting anyone staying healthy all year and being productive. This candidate is mitigated by the fact that we know this could happen to any/all of them, so, since it's expected, it's not that much of a disappointment.


2) Reyes: So now not only is he not as good as he was two years ago, he has fallen in rank in terms of the game's best SS. And the two teams with better SS in our division are the two teams ahead of us. But the part that makes him worthy of a nomination in this category is his public behavior. And it's actually gotten worse since Wille got canned.

3) Johan: 7-7 on the 4th of July. This guy gets my vote. Yeah, the team plays like crap when he pitches and he should be more like 9-6. But he was brought here to "take over" SOME of these games the team is not winning and it just aint happening. meanwhile, Lincecomb is 10-1 and the "other" Santana is 9-3.
