I'll give you the fact that Dunn does not hit for average. However, he is not exactly like Dave Kingman because Adam Dunn possesses a career .381 OBP through last season, and is currently sitting at .386 so far this season. He always hits a ton of homers and drives in a bunch of runs. It seems to me like he makes damn good use of the hits he does get.
