On my board, when posted, I read it as it's less to do with Jeff Wilpon and even he admits the Wilpon's don't like him as he's been critical on them. Fred has to take blame, since he wanted to make trades for the 'meaningful games in september'...but guys like Goldis/Bevasi were the main catalyst and wanted to purge the other regime's prospects and, yes, I did hear about that idea before it took place.
