As stated elsewhere here, he has had 3 ND where he turned the game over to the pen with a lead and they blew it. He'd be 10-4 right now if not for those blown games, which puts him in the upper echelon of NL pitchers. He is FAR from the problem certain people are painting him to be. Granted, it would have been nice to see him go longer in games early in the season, but anyone who actually read one article on Santana after the trade knows that he is a slow starter and rarely goes deep into games early in the season.
