I sympathize. I was born in 88, so when I was really getting into baseball the Mets were pretty dreadful. I definitely heard about it at school the same way. I was in 7th grade when they lost the Subway Series. I had been running my mouth constantly. It sucked.

I was born in 87, and go to school in between Yankee-land and philly-land. Ive learned to come off as apologetic when i tell yankees fans who I like. I find most phillies fans my age are just as miserable as i am if not moreso, so I can tolerate them....except for last fall during the metdown....that was torture
