I agree that Delgado absolutely killed the Mets this year with his early season struggles, his lack of productivity in clutch situations, and his infectious, laid back attitude. That being said, I still think he's a decent option for us at first base next year. The guy still has some pop and there's always the possibility that he'll have a huge, bounce back season. We just can't count on him to be a middle-of-the-order monster or a team leader. Those roles have to fall to other guys.
