Listen, Jersey. I am entitled to my opinion. Reyes has not seemed the same to me since that day. And by the way, I agreed with what Randolph did. However, he should apply it consistently. I have seen SEVERAL Mets jogging around the bases and there has been no spotlight placed on them by our fearless leader like he did with Reyes.
And by the way, I am not the only person that has noticed that something has changed about how reyes plays the game since that day. Something has not been right with him for quite a while. Some people link it to Ricky Henderson's influence. I don't. I think something changed in his attitude for the NEGATIVE the day Randolph embarrassed him( I'm saying that looking at it from Reyes' perspective). It started out to be subtle and has slowly gotten worse.
And by the way, that said, I DO think Reyes has been over-rated. But that doesn't totally explain the steady decline this year especially when you compare it to his game last year.
