There are Mets fans that don't beleive in booing Mets.
There are Mets fans that actually beleive they should get btheir money's worth from a 100 million-plus team, and demand accountibiluty when things don't go well.
Put me and a lot of people I know in that last category.
Want me to cheer for a team of kids with a 20 million dollar payroll? Sure...just don't expect me to put 50 bucks a ticket for a "gold" game.
When I go to any sporting event I want my money's worth, and when I don;t get it, I let the team on the fieldHEAR about it, either way. |
