None of this has anyhting to do with the fact that the pitching (except Pedro & Perez) has sucked for the last 2 weeks.
If Smith/Sosa/Mota/Heilman/Wagner/Glavine etc. could throw worth a damn, we'd be agreeing with the slogan.
