Default The squeeze that never happened...Turning point of the season?

After all of the ass hatery I have witnessed the last few games, I still think that the sheer stupidity of Captain Ass Hat Willie on Friday night-- when he REFUSED to try a squeeze play in the bottom of the 8th-- opened up the floodgates to this deluge of sh*t.

Imagine, you have one of the fastest men in baseball on third base (Gomez); you have one of the best bunters in baseball at the plate (Castillo). How in the name of God do you not at least TRY a suicide squeeze at that point to put you in the lead going into the 9th inning?

And this is NOT 20/20 hindsight! I was sitting at Shea that night with my dad and we were both saying how Willie has to call for the squeeze.

But as we all know, Captain Ass Hat continued to forget he was not sitting next to his nose picking mentor in the American League and let "the babe" swing away and strike out. The rest is misery.
