In February 2007, NY Sports Day became affiliated with NY Sportscene Magazine and will act as the on-line arm for the publication.

Founded in 1995, NY Sportscene has become the permier New York sports magazine in the Metropolitan Area with monthly coverage of all nine major sports teams and also features on some of the minor sports.

With publisher Joe McDonald on the Sportscene editorial staff and many of NYSD's writers contributing articles to the magazine, the merger of both publications' strengths compliment each other to make this site the one stop shop for Independent Coverage of Gotham Sports.
